Well this week went pretty well. I didn't do as well on my midterm as I had hoped but it's okay. I really knew the material but for some reason made some dumb mistakes. We had a terrible basketball game friday night. Our girls lost by one because the refs called the winning shot no good. That was a heart breaker. Because it meant that they had to play another game on saturday to decide who makes it to the state tournament. Well they lost that game on saturday. I feel bad for our girls. They have a good team but make some bad mistakes. So girls basketball is over. Boys just have one more week then they go to state. And they are going for sure. Other than that I just worked on a project and studied all last week.
Yesterday was an interesting day. I celebrated my 2 year anniversary of being home from my mission. It was a really great day though. I read a few of my letters from the mission, mostly the MTC. It was good to remember what I wrote the MTC as being like and how I matured throughout my mission. So I should have a lot of empathy for the elders I teach shouldn't I? I do really well with the sisters but sometimes I forget that the elders are only 19 so I have to remind myself. Anyway, today I'm gonna go back through my mission letters and pictures and stuff and just go back to memory lane. It's been like a year since I've done that. One letter I read was from my second to last week in the field when I was going through a tough time with a roomate. She was doing a lot of disobedient things and I finally told someone other than someone in our zone since no one in my zone did anything and they immediately told president. Anyway, she got emergency transfered and I got a lot of grief because of it. But I knew I did the right thing. I wrote in my letter that you can't do wrong and feel right and you can't do right and feel wrong. When my mission president interviewed me he told me that what I experienced will help me in my life, in the future. I had forgotten about that. Anyway, it's true. I have learned a lot about integrity and certain things are just so important! Anyway, life is great! This week will be really busy because I need to follow up on visiting teaching and I have a lot of interviews to do with the sisters. But things are going well. My district is doing really well with a few minor things. We are now working on lesson 2 in english so I'm excited to hear them teach! Welp, hope all is well at home!

I can't believe how fast time flies. Above is a picture of our district that just left for Quezon City and Bacolod missions :) It's pretty crazy. I swear just yesterday I was updating this thing. Anyway, I know I need to be better about it :). Well I got a new district last week. They are all so awesome! They are all so full of excitement to learn the language and everything it's funny! It took us a while to get them to calm down and raise their hands and such but we broke through on sat. They were all quiet and polite and everything. It was way awesome! I love them all so much and am excited for the next coming weeks with them! School is busy as usual. I have a midterm this week and a couple projects due. So I really need to get up in the morning and finish these projects so that way I can focus on studying for my midterm this week. So all in all things are going really well with work and school and with my calling. I don't know....I'm enjoying life. It was a weird valentine's day but the tulips were nice that you all sent me so thanks for that. I don't really know what else to say. Timpview is going really well too. We've had some fun basketball games and such so it's been good. Ben is really nice and I've gotten to evaluate a lot of injuries, mostly sprained ankles. But I did evaluate a torn ACL all by myself. He didn't even check it and just saw what I was doing and said that was enough info for him. So she had surgery on friday I believe. Poor girl....welp nothing too exciting to report on. I should have some funny stories or something but surprisingly enough I don't have much to report on. I laugh everyday and it's awesome. We just talked about Elder Wirthlin's talk, "Come what may and love it". So that was awesome. I love his attitude and sense of humor and I'm trying to be like that. I think sometimes I laugh too much though haha :) Anyway, my goals for this month is to be more social, like going to ward things. I go to a lot of the girls' apartments to visit but I don't really go to any activities. So that's my goal for the next couple of weeks. These weeks are going to be busy though but I'll have to report on that. Anyway, things are great and I'm interested to see what's going to be happening in the next few months with life decisions and such. I feel good about grad school for now so we'll see if I get in or not. Anyway, love you all!!!

Well it has been a really long time since I've posted. I apologize but it's been a very busy past few weeks. When I'm not busy with school it's with work or my internship or relief society stuff so time has gone by really quickly. I'll just start off with updating everything.
First off with the district. My district leaves tomorrow afternoon. It has been a very busy, long month with them. We have worked so hard to help these missionaries but a lot of them just lack the diligence and it shows in the results of their efforts. But when I look back at where they all started when they entered the MTC it's amazing the progress that they have all made. I just wish I could have helped them more. But I feel good that I did the best that I could. This past week has been hard though to keep them focused and such. I just started to feel burned out there. So in the end I'm glad that they are leaving and that they are moving on to the next phase of their missions. I know that they all will be amazing and of course they are going to the best mission in the world!! (Quezon City) But anyway, I'm excited for the new district to come in on wednesday and I'm excited for the new adventure. I'm excited for these new missionaries. Anyway so things are going great at work. It's just really busy but there have been so many days with this district that have been awesome. Anyway, so on to yet another district! Boy is life an adventure!
Now for the high school. Things have been awesome! I love working with Ben, the athletic trainer there. He is fun to work with and he is very understanding of work and school and such. The athletes are a lot of fun to work with too. They are all really nice and just fun to watch and such. Right now we've just been working mainly with basketball but other sports are having practices as well so we've been pretty busy. The season is almost over so our guys and girl's teams really need to step it up if they are going to make it to the playoffs even. So we'll see. Anyway, I've gotten to evaluate a lot of injuries and see a lot of new things. Ben just lets me do a lot of things where in the past I haven't been able to evaluate as many injuries. So that's been good.
School has been fine. Really I've just been trying to keep up with everything. I've been able to keep up with my school work so far and I think I have another couple weeks until midterms. I'm not excited for that at all.
Relief society has been really busy. I've really been trying to get to know all the girls and work with them and help them out. It's been pretty busy. I wouldn't really say stressful because I recognize that this isn't my calling it's the Lord's so I've really been relying on Him and my counselors and such a lot. So it hasn't been too bad. All the girls are really awesome and a lot of fun to work with. I have been blessed with an awesome relief society. And it has surprised me greatly the things that they all go through and have gone through in their lives. Seriously I have learned so much from them. It's been awesome to serve them as well because it's through service where you really get to know and love people. That's why I care about all these girls so much and all the missionaries too. It's awesome. Our main goal this semester is just for each girl to really feel the love that the Lord has for them and to understand their divine worth and also to really work on the unity within our relief society. I want everyone to know each other and have a friend that they can call on in time of need. Anyway so things are going great so far!
So that's my life. It's been really busy. I've watched a lot of basketball lately which has surprisingly been fun to watch. Especially when you see a team make a basket for the other team. That's always embarassing. At least it wasn't our team though. haha! My friends and I have played a lot of this game called Carcassone lately too. It's a lot like settlers. We've all started to get really competitive though. Maybe we shouldn't play the game so often anymore. It's fun but it's not fun to lose. But oh well, so is life. Anyway, tomorrow we have a ton of basketball games and I have a couple homework assignments that I need to get done in the meantime so these next few days are going to be pretty busy. Welp sorry for the lame update. Things are going well but just busy. I love life and I love learning. Oh and yes I did take the GRE and no I didn't score as high as I needed to. But I went in and talked to one of the advisers and he was really nice about everything. He said if it was his decision then he would let me into the program but of course he's not the only one who makes the decision. So chances are that I'm going to have to retake the GRE. He told me to get in contact with the guy in charge of the grad school but I have yet to catch him in his office. So anyway, I'm probably just going to wait and see what happens. I'm sure that they will ask me to retake it eventually but probably not for a while. So we'll see what happens. Anyway, so that's pretty much it! Hope things are going well with everyone else!!
